MedicaTour is a partner of the Day of Ayurveda at the Indian Embassy in Moscow

On September 22, 2026, a conference dedicated to the Day of Ayurveda 2026 was held in the D.P. Dhar Hall of the Embassy of the Republic of India in Moscow. The event, organized by the Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Center at the Indian Embassy, brought together representatives of Ayurvedic centers and Russian clinics working within the framework of classical Western medicine. The organization's partner was the company MedicaTour.

The event was opened by Nikhilesh Giri, Deputy Head of Mission at the Indian Embassy in the Russian Federation. In his welcoming speech, he stressed the importance of Ayurveda as an ancient knowledge system and its growing popularity outside India, as well as the importance of cultural and medical exchange between the two countries and thanked Russian partners for their assistance in popularizing the Ayurvedic approach to health.

The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Naushad Ali Tachaparamban, representative of the Atreya Ayurveda Center (Moscow). The guests were also addressed by Dr. Irina Valeryevna Gravel (I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University), Boris I. Tarasov (BRICS Alliance of Entrepreneurs, "True Values" Foundation, Expert Council of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs), Dr. Lilia Ilgizovna Monasypova (Ayurvedic Russian-Indian Association ARIA), and others.-Dr. Varun Ram Raj (MSC). The experts highlighted various aspects of Ayurvedic treatment and projects related to the integration of Ayurveda into Western medical practice.

Tatiana Sokolov, CEO of MedicaTour, was invited to deliver a speech from Russian business. In her speech, she spoke about the company's role in the development of medical tourism between Russia and India, the experience of organizing wellness trips to Ayurvedic centers and plans to expand cooperation with Indian clinics and specialists.

"Ayurveda is no longer exotic for Russians and is turning into a conscious choice of people looking for an integrated approach to health. Our task as a partner is to make this path understandable, safe and professionally structured," said Tatiana Sokolov.

After the official part, a dinner for the guests was organized at the embassy. In an informal setting, the participants of the event were able to continue communication, exchange impressions and discuss joint initiatives, from educational programs for doctors to direct exchanges between clinics. Following the results of the "Day of Ayurveda", the parties expressed their willingness to further develop partnerships.
