Ayurveda in the modern world: proven effectiveness

Every year thousands of people from all over the world come to Kerala to benefit from the wisdom of Ayurveda and improve their health.

Ayurveda has firmly established itself in a number of alternative medical systems, gaining more and more fans around the world. Its effectiveness has been confirmed by numerous studies, including in the treatment of age—related diseases such as arthritis.

One of the most famous Ayurvedic practices, Panchakarma, deserves special attention. This comprehensive cleansing therapy (detox) is aimed at:

  • restoring essential body functions;
  • rejuvenation of body and mind;
  • deep cleansing at the cellular level.

Philosophical foundations of Yoga and Ayurveda: the Connection of Times

During the tour, special attention was paid to the philosophical origins of yoga and Ayurveda. These two healing systems originate from Samhya yoga, one of the six branches of Vedic philosophy. This ancient wisdom formed the basis of a convinced theory about the transformation of basic energy.:

energy goes through a path of transformation, taking various forms;
Ultimately, it manifests itself in the form of our mental and bodily habits.
The key philosophical postulate that unites Ayurveda and yoga is the unity of mind and matter. This idea permeates all aspects of these practices, defining their approach to human health and well-being.

Yoga and Ayurveda offer more than just a set of exercises or therapeutic procedures — they are a holistic way of life based on harmony with the outside world. Following this path, a person attains:

  • Mental well-being;
  • Physical health;
  • Longevity;
  • Inner harmony.

The management of MedicaTour expresses its gratitude to the organizers and sponsors of the conclave of this large-scale event.
