International Medical Tourism Workshop was successfully held within the framework of MedTravelExpo-2025, the leading Russian exhibition in the field of medical tourism

On December 9 and 10, as part of the Russian Healthcare Week at MedTravelExpo-2025, held at the Crocus Expo exhibition complex in Moscow, an international workshop was held, organized by Expocentre JSC and the MedicaTour company.

This year's event was attended by representatives of medical tourism agencies from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, India, Kyrgyzstan, Tunisia and Turkey, as well as from Russia, including agencies from Moscow, Yaroslavl and Perm. The main purpose of the workshop was to establish contacts and discuss prospects for cooperation in the field of medical tourism.

The Forum provided the participants with an opportunity to share professional experience, strengthen business ties and identify new directions for the development of the industry at both national and international levels.

During the two days of the workshop, more than two hundred meetings and negotiations took place between medical tourism agencies and exhibitors, including representatives of medical institutions, sanatorium complexes and other organizations. As a result of these meetings, framework cooperation agreements were signed, as well as plans were developed to expand the export of medical services to Russia and increase the flow of foreign patients seeking treatment in Russian medical institutions.
