Participation of the company MedicaTour in the All-Russian conference "Key issues of healthcare development 2026", Saint Petersburg (Russia)

The management of the MedicaTour company was invited to participate in the all-Russian conference "Key issues of healthcare development 2026", which was held in St. Petersburg from November 18 to 22, 2025, and the CEO of MedicaTour made a presentation on the development of medical tourism.

The event discussed strategically important issues in the field of healthcare, including priority areas for the development of the industry, financing mechanisms for the healthcare system, the state guarantee program for 2026, the introduction of a new remuneration system for medical workers, as well as changes in the rules of compulsory medical insurance (CHI) and other relevant topics.

There was also a discussion about the federal project "Export of medical services". The CEO of MedicaTour shared the company's experience in this area, presenting a detailed analysis of the current situation and prospects for the development of international medical tourism.

The conference program also included business visits to some of the leading medical institutions in St. Petersburg. Representatives of the company visited the Federal State Budgetary Institution named after A.M. Nikiforov of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the MIBS cancer hospital.

We have received a lot of useful information, and two outstanding St. Petersburg medical institutions have been added to the portfolio of our partner hospitals, including the proton center, which operates on the territory of the MIBS.
