The business visit of the CEO of the company MedicaTour to the cities of Seoul and Busan (Republic of Korea) for significant events in the field of medical tourism

Tatiana Sokolov, CEO of the MedicaTour Company, took part in two significant events in the field of medical tourism, held in Seoul and Busan (Republic of Korea). A SITMTT event was held in Seoul, and a BIMTC event was held in Busan. Both events were organized at a high level and aimed at developing medical tourism in the Republic of Korea.

As part of these events, Tatiana held more than 50 meetings with Korean partners, both existing and new. During the negotiations, prospects for further cooperation were discussed, as well as innovative approaches and unique treatment methods used in Korean medicine were studied. In addition, the General Director of MedicaTour established contacts with medical tourism agencies from various countries around the world, as a result of which potential areas for further cooperation were identified.

The company "MedicaTur" has been cooperating with the Republic of Korea for more than 15 years. During this period, the company has treated more than 500 patients from both the Russian Federation and other countries in leading clinics in South Korea.

According to the annual ratings of the international research company Statista and the American news magazine Newsweek, the best hospitals in the Asia-Pacific region and the world are selected based on strict criteria. In the Asia-Pacific regional ranking for 2025, South Korean medical institutions have taken leading positions in six of the nine categories, which confirms the high level of medical care in the country.

In particular, 16 Korean hospitals were included in the "Best Hospitals in the World" category, of which 13 are located in Seoul. This indicates Seoul's high status as a leading premium medical tourism center.

Busan also has significant potential for the development of medical tourism due to the presence of advanced modern hospitals. In addition, the city is known for its magnificent beaches, which allows patients to combine treatment with relaxation.
