Workshop SITMMT-2024 in Seoul

From September 8 to 11, Seoul hosted another event in the field of medical tourism — SITMMT-2024. During the event, CEO of the company "MedicaTour" Tatiana Sokolov represented the central region of Russia. The event was attended by representatives from various countries of the world.

On September 8, a promotional tour was organized, during which the participants of the event were divided into three groups and visited various medical institutions. Tatiana Sokolov's group visited the Catholic University of Korea Seoul St.&Mary's Hospital, a large university multidisciplinary hospital founded in 1966. The hospital has 1,383 beds, 880 doctors, 5 surgical robots and 30 operating rooms. Tatiana highly appreciated the level of equipment and professionalism of the hospital staff. She noted that the hospital provides care for both children and adults, and that the company "MedicaTour" has many years of experience in cooperation with South Korea.

After visiting the clinic, lunch was held in a traditional Korean restaurant, where the guests were served the famous Korean dish — pibimpap. This popular dish has an unusual presentation: boiled rice is covered with layers of salads, snacks, fried eggs, meat and vegetables, after which all the ingredients are mixed. Pibimpap can be eaten both cold and hot.

After lunch, the group went on a hot air balloon ride over Seoul. It is an unforgettable experience, stunning views of the city and the feeling of floating above the ground.

The trip ended with a visit to the House of Strength, where the band members took part in a unique practice, after which the Korean tea ceremony was held.

On September 10 and 11, a workshop was held between participants from different countries and Korean clinics. Representatives of South Korean clinics began signing up for a meeting with Tatiana long before the event. MedicaTour's CEO held more than 40 meetings with Korean partners. Within the framework of the event, meetings were organized with both long-standing partners and discussion of prospects for cooperation with new ones.

The event was organized at a high level. At lunchtime, educational sessions were held for specialists in the field of medical tourism, and lunch was also organized.

"Recently, we have seen an increase in the number of requests for treatment in South Korea. We hope that our cooperation with Korean clinics will continue and become even more fruitful," Tatiana Sokolov shared her impressions of the event.
