MedicaTour represented Russia at the international conference in Athens

On February 12-14, 6th Annual Medical Tourism Conference and Workshop was held in Athens, organized by the well-known European company Euroevents. MedicaTour management was invited to the conference as Gold members. “This is the third time we are participating in the conferences of Euroevents - our good partners - we were in Zagreb, Riga, and now in Greece. Euroevents conferences are always distinguished by a high level of organization, high-quality selection of speakers, interesting and informative presentations and panels,” said Tatiana Sokolov, General Director of MedicaTour.

In the first two days there were speakers' speeches and business panels. This time, Dr. Prem, a well-known world-famous consultant, flew in from India to participate in the conference, Ilan Geva flew in from America - a consultant for the development of medical tourism on a global scale, he advises governments of different countries and helps them build a development strategy, Claudia Mika is the founder and CEO of Temos - European certification of clinics, Alessandro Santambrogio - our partner and consultant from Italy and many other experts well-known in medical tourism.

At the end of the second day, we were invited to a magnificent gala dinner, where everyone could chat in an informal setting, listen to beautiful Greek music, watch a performance of a Greek dance group, and also dance Greek and modern dances.

On the third day, a Workshop was organized with clinics from both Greek and other countries. We met our old partners, and also met new ones.

After lunch, an educational tour was organized with a tour of Greek clinics. We visited 3 clinics - IATROPOLIS and two from the HHG group: HYGEIA and MITERA. Greek medicine pleasantly surprised - the modern equipment of the clinics, highly qualified specialists, extensive experience in the treatment of oncology, IVF, pediatrics, rehabilitation (especially a strong direction, as historically happened) and much more. We will definitely cooperate and develop the direction of treatment in Greece.

I want to say many thanks to the organizer of the conference, Kiril Gelevsky and his wonderful team for their high professionalism. We will be pleased to participate in their future projects.

And it was completely unexpected and insanely pleasant to receive the high award for medical tourism, which we were awarded at the conference. Thank you for appreciating our experience, our contribution to the development of this area. We will try to continue to justify the honor rendered to us.
