St. Anna's Clinic is the largest maternity hospital in the Ticino canton and one of the largest private maternity clinics in Switzerland.

The “cradle” for the local population, the clinic of St. Anne, was founded in Lugano by the sisters of the “Society of St. Anne” from Lucerne in 1922. It has been located in Sorengo since 1934. About 840 babies are born here. The clinic also has a neonatology department for intensive care of premature babies.

The clinic has 80 beds, which is of great importance for the health system of the canton of Ticino, mainly in the field of women's health, mammology, oncology, internal medicine and specialized surgery thanks to 5 operating rooms. May 2011 In St. Anne's Clinic, the first Nescens Preventive Anti-Aging Medicine Center in Ticino operates for Swiss residents and foreign patients.

In 2013, an outpatient department for general medicine, oncology and surgery was opened in the clinic of St. Anne. The clinic also increased the number of beds due to the introduction of new high-standard rooms: 2 suites, 4 junior suites and 4 single rooms. All new rooms have the most modern infrastructure, which provides maximum comfort for patients.

For the convenience of foreign patients, there is a medical coordination department where they can apply, including in Russian. The clinic also has accredited translators.
