Volgograd Regional Children's Clinical Hospital
Volgograd Regional Children's Clinical Hospital is the flagship of the regional children's healthcare system. The largest institution is located at three addresses in the city of Volgograd:
- the main building with a consulting and diagnostic center and a clinical multidisciplinary hospital;
- six buildings of the infectious diseases hospital;
- a separate two-storey building of the Department of medical rehabilitation.
Everything necessary for the provision of medical care in 19 profiles of pediatric pathology is concentrated here.
Our patients are children from 0 to 18 years old.
Every year, more than 18,000 children receive treatment in a multidisciplinary hospital, and more than 60,000 young patients are examined at the consultative and diagnostic center.
The main problems that nonresident and foreign patients face are diseases of the nervous system, including cerebral palsy, congenital and acquired diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
The medical experience and knowledge of our specialists are known far beyond the borders of our region. The following are especially strong: traumatology and orthopedics, rheumatology, medical rehabilitation. These areas have become priorities in the development of the export of medical services.
The clinic has passed the international certification for compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system standard.
Rehabilitation assistance in terms of quality and completeness is not inferior to the level of federal centers. But unlike federal clinics, it is possible to undergo another rehabilitation course without time delays, since we do not have a waiting list for treatment. This is very valuable for patients who need step-by-step therapy.
An individual rehabilitation program is developed for each child by a multidisciplinary team of DOCTORS, which includes a specialist in pathology (neurologist, orthopedist, allergist, pediatrician), a physical therapy doctor, a physiotherapist, a reflexologist, a psychotherapist or a child psychiatrist, a teacher -defectologist, medical psychologist.
The comprehensive rehabilitation program includes: therapeutic gymnastics, classes on children's simulators, differentiated massage, mechanotherapy, various methods of physiotherapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, psychodiagnostics and psychopedagogic correction, art therapy, color therapy, sand therapy, speech therapy correction, manual therapy, reflexotherapy, etc.
Among only a few institutions in the country, we have the latest robotic locomotor system for restoring Walkbot walking function.

Comfort
Comfortable living conditions have been created for the stay of children with health restrictions. A specialized elevator helps you move between floors. Offices and wards are equipped with handrails and supports, and sanitary and shower rooms have combined hygiene and bathing devices that facilitate care.
There are several play areas in the department's premises, as well as in the adjacent landscaped area. Educators conduct daily educational classes and interactive games for children. This creates an additional favorable emotional background and helps the child overcome the disease.
Equipment
Only modern equipment and proven techniques are used. In 2023, the department received another 110 units of new equipment.
These are exercise bikes, simulators for developing joints of the arms and legs, simulators simulating climbing stairs, specialized treadmills, parapodiums and verticizers, a simulator with a vibrating platform, equipment for occupational therapy.
The latest generation of equipment for a wide range of physiotherapy has also been received. The resulting models of devices differ not only in their modern ergonomic design, but also have an extensive range of therapeutic effects, contain several application modes at once, built-in programs that allow you to select parameters individually for each child.
All incoming equipment is convenient and safe for children, has special settings and patient protection systems.
