Children's intensive care rehabilitation center in Warsaw, Poland

Treatment of cerebral palsy and rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system in children of all ages

The Children's Rehabilitation and Intensive Care Center was established in Warsaw in 2006 and is engaged in the rehabilitation of children and adolescents with multiple disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

Treatment at the Center is aimed at achieving and maintaining the best possible physical fitness, good functioning and patient autonomy. The treatment takes place in a friendly, smiling and relaxed atmosphere, using the game. Under these conditions, the child is maximally involved in the process and seeks to fulfill the tasks assigned to him. The main goal of such therapy is to prepare patients for independent functioning outside the Center.

Based on a conversation with the child’s guardian, studying his physical condition, studying the medical history, the course of the previously prescribed treatment, as well as directly monitoring the child’s abilities and skills, an individual treatment plan is drawn up aimed at achieving certain functional goals. Depending on the success of the treatment and the skills acquired by the patient, the attending physician is constantly developing and improving the treatment plan.

The main advantage of the Center for Rehabilitation and Intensive Care is the presence of a team of experienced and highly qualified doctors who use the most effective and modern methods of working with children in their work, such as: neurodevelopmental therapy according to the Bobat method, PNF therapy (proprioceptive neuromuscular exercise), manual therapy, soft tissue therapy, neuromobilization, massage, kinesiotherapy, hand therapy, sensory integration therapy, neurological therapy.
