National Research Cardiac Surgery Center, Nur-Sultan
National Research Cardiac Surgery Center in Nur-Sultan was established by order of the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev and opened its doors on October 12, 2011.
National Research Cardiac Surgery Center in Nur-Sultan is a leading cardiac surgery clinic in Central Asia offering medical services and quality service. The Center has 6 operating rooms and two intensive care units with 36 beds with round-the-clock monitoring of life support. The bed capacity of the Center is 200 beds.

Accreditation and certification
From October 20 to October 23, 2014, the Center successfully passed the inspection and received an official opinion from the Joint Commission International on accreditation according to international standards. On November 29, 2017, the Center was certified by SSRS under the Heart Transplantation and VAD Implantation programs.
Achievements of the Center
The unique achievements of the Center are such operations as the implantation of a circulatory support device (VAD), heart and lung transplantation, as well as implantation of a completely artificial heart CARMAT (as part of the PIVOT study) and the world's first implantation of a wireless mechanical device - FIVAD.
