MedicaTour brought Russian representatives of healthcare and medical tourism to Kerala (India) to establish business cooperation
From February 1-9, a delegation from Russia, organized by the company MedicaTour, visited the state of Kerala in India in order to get acquainted with the treatment possibilities in this region, develop business cooperation and exchange experience between healthcare professionals from both countries.
On 3.02 a conference was organized at which Tatiana Sokolov, CEO of MedicaTour, delivered a report on "Prospects for cooperation between Russia and India in the field of medical tourism." After the conference, a Workshop was successfully held, where negotiations on cooperation between the Russian and Indian sides were held.
The next day, a tour of hospitals and Ayurvedic centers in the region began. Our delegation visited two multi-specialty hospitals: Rajagiri Hospital and Welcare Hospital, as well as 3 Ayurvedic resorts: Eco Gardens, Kairali and Tigris Valley.
During the tour, interesting meetings and discussions with doctors were organized, the group members tried Ayurvedic massages, morning yoga classes. In Tigris Valley, the delegation listened to a lecture on Ayurveda and functional and integrative medicine.
An interesting cultural program was also prepared for the participants of the delegation. We visited Kerala's largest Athirapalli Waterfall, Pannathur Elephant Park, tea plantations, Fort Kochi, Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry Palace and Cherai Beach.
After the introductory tour of Kerala, further cooperation and interaction between members of the Russian delegation and representatives of Indian medical institutions was planned.
