Visit of CEO of MedicaTour to Astana

From 5 to 8.11, CEO of MedicaTour Tatiana Sokolov visited the city of Astana, Kazakhstan, on a business visit to get acquainted with the level of development of medicine and the possibility of cooperation with Kazakhstan in the field of medical tourism.

As part of the business visit, meetings and negotiations were held with several leading clinics in Astana, visits were organized to the National Scientific Oncology Center, the National Scientific Center for Neurosurgery, the National Center for Children's Rehabilitation, the International Oncology Center for Tomotherapy "UMIT", plastic surgery and dentistry clinics and other clinics.

“I was very surprised by the high level of development of medicine in Astana. It is pleasant to note that here we are seeing a powerful breakthrough in the development of this area - excellent medical centers equipped with the most modern equipment, a high level of specialists. I would like to separately note that the doctors we met are great enthusiasts of their work, it is felt that they love their work and are passionate about it.

What impressed me most was the National Center for Children's Rehabilitation - they help children with cerebral palsy, autism, and Down syndrome. A full cycle of therapy is provided here, from high-level treatment to social adaptation. For children, there is a school and a hairdresser, where they are taught to take care of their appearance, as well as various creative clubs, and a race track. There are many interesting events for children and their parents. And most importantly, there is a team of caring professionals who work here with all their hearts to help such special children and their parents.” - Tatiana Sokolov shared her impressions.
