The fifth anniversary exhibition of medical tourism MedTravelExpo-2022 was held in Moscow

From December 5 to December 8, the fifth anniversary exhibition MedTravelExpo, which is the largest medical tourism event in Russia, was held at the Expocenter in Moscow. MedicaTour Company has been participating in this exhibition for the fifth year and is an official partner of the event.

Our company was at the origins of the organization of the exhibition and for 5 years of participation in MedTravelExpo brought us a lot of useful acquaintances and contacts.

This time we held negotiations and signed Agreements of Intent with Novosibirsk region and Belarus. We got acquainted with new clinics in Moscow and Moscow region. We held negotiations and also signed an Agreement of Intent with Cuba (we have long dreamed of starting cooperation with this country and a few days before the exhibition colleagues from Cuba approached us and asked for a meeting at the exhibition to negotiate cooperation). A delegation of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Russia also visited our booth and invited us to visit the Embassy in order to negotiate cooperation in the field of medical tourism.

Our CEO Tatiana Sokolov was the moderator of the Forum "Medical Tourism" at the session: "Medical tourism – technologies and investments".

Two presentations and autograph sessions took place at the exhibition: book commissioned by the Ministry of Health of Russia "100 tips on medical tourism", one of the authors of which was Tatiana Sokolov; as well as the presentation of the third book by Tatiana Sokolov "Model of working with patients in medical tourism".

"It's nice to see that every year the exhibition is becoming more interesting, and the number of participants in the field of medical tourism and the export of medical services is increasing. It is nice to see that the exhibition unites medical tourism players from more and more countries "under its roof". And also that, despite all the restrictions, medical tourism in Russia is growing and developing, attracting not only citizens from CIS countries to our country for treatment, but also from all over the world," Tatyana Sokolov shared her impressions.
