MedicaTour has started cooperation with a doctor and professor of the German Thermal Ablation Center

We are pleased to announce that MedicaTour has started working with a unique doctor of science, professor, founder and member of the scientific advisory German Thermal Ablation Center - Hydayi Korkusuz.

Thermal ablation is an effective method for the treatment of benign and malignant tumors.

The purpose of thermal ablation is the irreversible destruction of the affected tissue with a subsequent decrease in its volume. During thermal ablation, the pathological tissue is brought to a temperature of at least 60 degrees Celsius in the ablation zone. Surrounding healthy tissue is preserved.

Through targeted exposure to heat, unwanted cells are heated up and destroyed. This stimulates the body to destroy the dead cells. The immune system is activated and the node is removed, which as a result loses volume.

Currently, thermal ablation is considered a new progressive alternative treatment for various diseases such as thyroid nodules, prostate hyperplasia, fibroadenomas and lipomas.

The benefits of thermal ablation are clear. In most cases, it allows you to achieve complete recovery and abandon traditional therapy with organ loss.

Thermal ablation is divided into radiofrequency, laser, microwave and echotherapy.

Professor Korkusuz is the only person in the world who has worked with all these methods. He can offer and carry out individual treatment for each patient. Professor Korkusuz has published more than 50 scientific articles on the procedures described above.

A brief overview of the benefits of thermal ablation

1. Minimally invasive procedure.

Radiofrequency ablation, microwave ablation and laser ablation are minimally invasive methods. A small incision with a width of only 1 mm is sufficient.

2. Non-invasive procedure.

Echotherapy, including HIFU, is performed without skin incisions.

Echotherapy can be used to treat thyroid nodules and breast lumps without an incision.

3. Local anesthesia.

It only takes a small dose of local anesthetic, just like a dentist. General anesthesia is not needed.

4. Outpatient operations.

The therapy is carried out on an outpatient basis. After the procedure, the patient can go home.

5. No scars.

After the procedure, no traces of the operation will be visible. There is no risk of scarring.

6. Very good results.

Nodes become almost 50 smaller: within 3 months. In some cases, the nodes disappear completely. Outstanding cosmetic result.

7. Without mandatory medication.

After surgery or radioiodine therapy, patients are forced to take hormones for life because their thyroid gland stops functioning. After thermal ablation, this is not necessary.

The doctor performs operations in clinics in Turkey and Germany.
