Multidisciplinary conference of SM-Clinic on bariatric surgery

On April 14 and 15, 2022, the management of MedicaTour took part in the conference “Opportunities for a private medical clinic in a comprehensive solution to the problems of obesity”. The conference was held on the territory of the corporate recreation center of the Russian medical holding "SM-clinic" in the Park-Hotel Basovskoye near Moscow.

The conference was attended by leading specialists in this field of this medical field: bariatric surgeons - Vladislav Davydov, Boris Pomortsev, Natalia Bordan and others.

On the first day, there was a surgery section, which talked about the methods used in bariatric surgery, and also provided interesting statistics on operations. The second day of the conference was devoted to post-bariatric plastic surgery, dietetics and psychotherapy, as well as post-bariatric cosmetology.

All material was presented comprehensively and fully covered the methods of combating obesity and ways to restore the normal life of such patients and improve their quality of life. All presentations were illustrated with concrete examples.

On the evening of the first day after the end of the conference, a wonderful gala dinner was organized for all participants of the conference, where they could talk in an informal setting.
