How to draw attention to Moscow region

How to draw attention to Moscow region

On November 15, the management of MedicaTour was invited to take part in the strategic session “Development Tools of Territories” within the framework of the “Territories of Growth” Conference organized by the Moscow Region Government.

Session addressed many interesting topics and issues related to the development of the Moscow region. For example, “Economics of projects. Actual market trends. How to make a project effective and successful”, “A new look at territorial development: territory-product and territory-market-place”, “Creating a regional tourism brand: mechanisms and implementation”.

General director of MedicaTour Tatiana Sokolov was invited to speak as an expert at the round table “Non-touristic tourism - features of medical and business tourism” with a report “Development of export of medical services in the region as one of the growth factors”. After the report, there was a lively discussion of the audience with Tatiana about the situation with medical tourism in Russia today.

The potential of the Moscow Region is very high - magnificent nature, a favorable climate, unique crafts (Gzhel, Zhostovo painting, Pavlovsky Posad shawls, wood carvings). Also, in the Ruza district, for example, there is an amazing place - Ruzskaya Alaska is a village where the husky kennel is located and there are very interesting options such as a dog sledding ride in the winter and dog tracking in the summer, while enjoying the pleasure of communicating with nature and kind and affectionate animals. And it is impossible not to mention that communicating with dogs helps a lot to treat autistic children.

“I am sure that this event will give an excellent restart for the development of this region and tourists and patients from around the world will come to the Moscow Region. Government abd business just need to pay attention to this region and take several steps to bring it closer to the level of world standards”, Tatiana Sokolov shared her impressions of this event.
