MedicaTour - a representative of Russia at International Medical Tourism Islamic Council in Antalya
From 7.11 to 11.11.2018, MedicaTour's management was invited to Antalya to participate in the International Medical Tourism Islamic Council. The event was organized at a high level. On the first day there was a grand opening and a conference on current topics of medical tourism. On the second day, B2B meetings were organized, and also everyone could go and see the Turkish clinics.
Our company held over 20 meetings with Turkish clinics and resorts. We found new interesting partners, and also met with our old partners.
It should be noted that medicine in Turkey is at a high level, clinics are equipped with modern equipment, doctors studied and trained in Europe and in America.
The main advantages in Turkish medicine are high development of transplantology, strong oncology, neurosurgery, and rehabilitation. Bariatric operations are very popular - surgery for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, as well as hair transplantation.

A pleasant meeting was with our partners from Izmir - this is a multidisciplinary university clinic Medical Park, which has JCI accreditation and covers all areas of medicine. We are pleased to resume work with this partner, because in due time, due to the current political situation, we temporarily stopped working.
Of course, we could not help but invite Turkish clinics to participate in the exhibition MedTravelExpo and many of them are now considering the possibility of participating, and MEDWORLD has already confirmed their participation.
