The beginning of collaboration between MedicaTour and the biggest Russian pediatric center of hematology, oncology and immunology named after Dmitry Rogachev“A big milestone in the activities of our company MediсaTour is the beginning of cooperation with The Dmitry Rogachev Children's Hematology, Oncology and Immunology Center,” said Tatiana Sokolov, Founder and General Director of MedicaTour.

The Dmitry Rogachev Children's Hematology, Oncology and Immunology Center is a unique world-class center in which not only save children from serious diseases, but also develop and implement uniform internationally recognized protocols for the treatment of blood diseases, malignant tumors, and immune system pathologies. The Center is the “locomotive” of the development of pediatric hematology-oncology in the Russian Federation.

The new building of the Center, which was opened in 2011, also became a major international project: its construction was carried out with the active involvement of specialists from Germany and using German technology. In addition, during the construction period more than 30 doctors of the Center went on internships at leading clinics in Germany, and teachers from American and German university clinics were invited to work with junior medical staff.

Today the Center is fully integrated into world science. The specialists of the center regularly exchange experience with their foreign colleagues in the framework of international meetings, conferences, symposia and other events, gathering doctors and scientists from the best clinics and universities in the world. In addition, the center is constantly visited by world-renowned specialists who conduct lectures, seminars and master classes for employees of various departments. Another important form of interaction with leading foreign specialists has become the practice of inviting them for permanent work in the Center. Such cooperation is especially fruitful with German doctors. Since July 2012, Dr. Gunter Henze and Dr. Hans Dietrich Ochs from Germany have been working in the Center. Specialists of the Center also continue to take overseas internships and get the necessary experience directly from their foreign colleagues.

“I am happy that now on the territory of Russia we have such a strong partner who performs such an important and humane mission - it is the salvation of children from severe diseases,” says Tatyana Sokolov.
